I designed the brand book for Inlight festival group. The project came to me with their visual identity already defined. My role was to translate and expand that foundation through a comprehensive brand book that could ensure safe usage across all experiences and media.
The Takeaway
Working on InLight’s brand book taught me how to honor a brand’s existing personality while creating something that represented the company well and was simple to understand. It was an exercise in layout design while colouring outside of the lines. Through this project, I strengthened my ability to let simplicity speak for itself and create a design framework that let creativity flourish safely across many contexts.
