I did a single cover for a local Hamilton-based reggaeton artist. We wanted the cover to perfectly evoke the feelings and energy that the song had. He gave me a few inspirations he wanted me to use such as 16-bit racing games, pop art, and old postcards. From there I blended all 3 aesthetics to create the cover for Morena.

This project was the closest I’ve worked with a client which brought a unique experience. Since the cover would be representing the visual side of his art he had very high expectations. He also had a specific vision that he wanted executed which brought the difficulties of differing opinions and how to maneuver them. 

This project was brought to me shortly before he wanted it     released so it was a very fast turnaround for something of this scale. This is something that happens often in this industry so it had to be completed regardless.
