Omni - Mobile onboarding process
I was hired by a company named Omni to do the framework and designing for the onboarding process for their mobile app. With a focus on high level UX/UI, they needed something that would maintain their customers attention through the onboarding. Their customers were at this point used to going to their website and reaching out by email so they wanted the process to also cause as little bother as possible.

I opted to use a simple layout with strong imagery to keep the user’s attention while going through the usual monotonous pages. I also kept it simple enough that it did not demand much work to get through in an effort to not alienate the customers from before. 

Takeaway
Designing for a mobile app was a great exercise in keeping a design straightforward, and understandable. It needs to be entertaining enough to maintain attention but it also needs to be simple enough that the desired flow occurs and the user experience is seamless. You want everything to be where it’s expected but still made fresh. I also had to design within their pre existing brand but at the same time they wanted something new as well. I had to pull elements from their past designs honouring the brand, but also bring fresh new ideas to the table.
